Refutation of traxler attack. Winning lines for White

About the losing line.

As any book will tell you, 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Bc4 Nf6 4.Ng5 Bc5 5.Nxf7 Bxf2+ 6.Kxf2 Nxe4+ 7.Kg1 Qh4 8.g3 Nxg3 9.hxg3 Qxg3+ 10.Kf1 Rf8 11.Qh5 d5 12.Bxd5 Nb4 pretty much wins for Black.

Good line. Reading is for nerds, so I didn't know of it. However, I have thoroughly analyzed it and believe d3, and not Qh5 to be the best continuation. In all lines, White is either victorious, or with a minor material advantage. If either side is uncomfortable with the long calculations, there are serveral variations in which draws can be forced, though I did not do those. As a national master, I would appreciate any feedback you could give, or any improvements on the lines I wrote.

The reason for d3 is the bishop defends against qf4 check which snags the bishop. I believe my analysis was correct.

Okay, 11.d3? loses to 11...d5 (11...Nd4 wins too btw) 12.Bxd5 Bh3+ 13.Rxh3 Qxh3+ 14.Kg1 (or 14.Ke1 Nd4) 14...Qg3+ 15.Kh1 Rd8!. I actually won a game like this earlier this year (conclusion 16.Nxd8 Rf2 0-1).
White's only chance in this line is 11.Nc3. Then if 11...d5 12.Bxd5 Bh3+ 13.Rxh3 Qxh3+ 14.Kg1 Qg3+ 15.Kh1 Rd8, there is 16.Qg1! (because the Nc3 defends the Bd5) and Black may have nothing better than a draw with 16...Qh3+ 17.Qh2 Qf1+ etc. Instead, GM Boris Alterman suggests 11...Qf4+ and 12...Qxc4 as a way to try for more.
