I'm not going to miss this exciting event! Will the whole tournament finish in one hour?
Reminder - special test event tomorrow

I don't know. It depends on how long the games are. I'm guessing an hour to an hour and a half. It's difficult to predict events with increment.

I'll be able to join, are we only going to be having 1 tournament on Tuesday? And will the starting time always be the same? The time for me is inconvenient so I'll only be able to play this one time.
Oh no wait a minute, I have a chess tournament on the exact same day

@tacticalchessplayer, we will probably plan our regular schedule to have an event right after Titled Tuesday, and another event on the prior Saturday. We will also have occasional special events.

Heya Gleason and Others, here is a tip for the computer surfers. You can Have your Game in V3 waiting on a tab, and still go back in a new tab and switch it back to v2 and surf the site while your live tab will stay in V3.

You will not get a message "second logging detected"?
no, because your only have one tab open in live chess.
I cant join, its 6am in the morning for me, and its sunday..... the only day i get to sleep in.. Have Fun!

I'd love to take part, but it'll be 19h here and it is impossible to concentrate while at work taking pizza orders all the time.
BUT A GREAT EVENT TO ALL THOSE TAKING PART!

Why am I worried how long the whole event will take? I'll be lucky if I survived first round! A 200 rated guy killed me last night 😂

What are the betting odds that the winner is banned within the month?
I will be checking the games and reporting anyone who looks suspicious.
Our first event is tomorrow, Saturday the 20th of May.
We will plan for 3:00 PM Pacific time. That is 10:00 UTC. Time zone converter: https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/fixedtime.html?msg=Untitled+Tuesday+Test-run&iso=20170520T22&p1=%3A
This tournament will be available in the live chess server's list of tournaments up to an hour beforehand. Note that you have to be in the new version of the site; you can switch back after the event if you prefer the old version.

We will follow the same format as we will follow for our future events: the time control is three minutes plus two seconds of increment, and it will be a seven-round event (we will increase the number of rounds for future events if we get enough people playing).
Note: games will be monitored for fair play violations.
