I also want to become 1500 . any guidelines? solid study plan instead of general advice?

I didn't studied much to reach 1600, just play and analyze your own games, fix 1 opening for black and white. See what mistakes or blunders you did on previous games, then don't repeat it again. "Experience beats skills always".

I became a 1500 by NOT DOING PUZZLES WHATSOEVER
By watching Levy's recaps of top level games and finding the patterns in mine
Learning Traxler, Vienna, Max Lange, Portuguese, and later buying the E4 New York Levy Course
By just playing everyday a bunch
By analyzing the chaotic games a LOT
And just being me, I'm a young Czech "prodigy" (national rating 1672, chess.com rapid 1804)

Just keep playing never give up, study consistently, puzzles and openings, pick one opening learn like 5 variations of it.

In my experience, learning openings IN DETAIL will get you to around 1400-1500 pretty easily. If you have better opening prep than your opponents you will either get a lot of quick wins in the opening, or reach a middlegame with a clear advantage. If the game reaches an endgame, it will usually be pretty one-sided and you can convert if with some inaccuracies.

HOWEVER...

Once you reach that point, your opponents will also be prepped for the opening so to maintain or improve from there your middlegame strategy and endgame theory/technique need to be better. You'll have to come up with middlegame plans to improve your position and you will have to play accurately in the endgame. It won't be enough to play a solid opening and wait for your opponent to make a mistake.

You will have to learn to understand the positions and find plans for yourself and your opponent. Analyze your games and figure out what you did wrong. Being able to navigate unfamiliar positions is important. This is the part of the game that I need to improve the most and am working on.

If you find opponents are playing less common openings more often, learn a little bit about those lines so that you are ready for them. A lot of gambits and sidelines have clear refutations, but only if you play the critical line.

So opening theory may get you to 1500, but you'll need a deeper understanding of the game to get beyond that.
