Oh. yeah. I've been doing this so long now that I rotate it almost instinctively.
And as for the notation, there's so many ways to write it that it doesn't really matter. You could give the most information with N@Qf3=A, or in this case it can be written as simply as just f3, because in this position that's the only way for white to put something on that square.
