hi grable I think they should have the age restrictions since in some forums there is an inappropriate language that some users publish and you know, bad words, could create internal conflicts, even complex ones. Especially his low self-esteem. The child does not feel loved or valued and assumes those words as true and may even doubt himself, this can lead to children
so put a restriction, it is only a suggestion
