If I got a "Serious Ban" after I filled out the form, do I need to clarify somewhere else or resubmit the form?

Nope. We're checking the applications when they're submitted. If it was accurate at the time you submitted it, then no worries.

that being said, if you got a serious ban, then you are less eligible for the role (i'm joking)

We have selected our new NCP Testers.

Thank you to everybody who applied! We had some difficult decisions to make, and there were many applicants who were serious contenders right until the very end of our deliberations. I will also note to those of you who were not selected some of the most common reasons we decided against acceptance.

• As much as we CGAs (as players of 4PC, and members of the community) know who many of you are, the application itself was your chance to prove that you could handle the responsibility, and are able to follow directions, give thoughtful analysis, and represent yourself in the best way possible. If your application looked like it took you 5 minutes to complete, that's probably about as much time as we devoted to considering it. After all, if you can't take more time than that to answer our questions when they're the most important questions we'll ask, how can we expect you to put any thought into testing a position and giving your feedback where the questions are less significant?
• If you represented your accomplishments on 4PC as more than they are, of course we can't trust you to be a Tester. So many applications listed inaccurate ratings, game counts, and omitted serious punishments or previous accounts. Did you think we wouldn't check those?
• We asked you to play 2 positions and give feedback. Less than half of you did. Surprisingly though, you were all able to provide feedback as if you had innate knowledge of the games. Anyone can look at a screenshot and give unhelpful feedback, ignorant of how the game actually plays out, but if you're expecting us to ask you to join our team, you need to demonstrate that you can do what we expect our team members to do.

Of course these aren't the only reasons why players weren't ultimately selected - just a bit of a mini-rant. Take from it what you will.

As I said above, if your name didn't make the list, thank you anyway for applying! We decided ultimately on 4 new Testers, but if we felt we needed more, there were plenty of good candidates to choose from.

me too but I expected it right after I submitted my forum because I just played the two test games in the -move variations tab. ); anyway my rating is terrible, and I have only made a few Ncp's

Lets be honest, there are only 2 people who are NCP testers/CGAs that test often: bsrti and qilp
