well we only seen him play asuma and his father or at least that's all i recall. a girl from MxO my beat or be on equal terms been awhile since i read the manga so i can't remember the name of the girl.
i would like to see that match though. if they were real and if the worlds crossed over.
for me it's the other way around i can't play xiangqi but i can play shogi.

The best game of strategy and tactics after chess i think is GO.. i heard this before it goes like
The game of checkers is for commons
The game of chess is for kings
The game of Go is for gods
Incidentally i also happen to enjoy Hikaru No Go! old anime i know but quite enjoyable!
i agree with go and chess being above checkers for sure but chess and go in my eyes are equal. it takes the same amount of stragy for me. however i'm better at chess and shogi.
Is shogi a lot different than chess?
Hikaru no go is an awesome anime, it's one of my favourite animes of all time. I can play a little bit of xianqi and want to learn shogi and go, I don't know which is better or more complicated
