Showcase your D&D Equipment

Here you can post pictures of any of your D&D equipment, books, figures, etc. Here are my AD&D books all purchased around the late 70s/early 80s. I've not played much since I got married 15 years ago so most of the wear and tear occured between the late 70s and 1994.

Wow, glafnazur139, I'm impressed...  The quality of those well-used tomes makes me feel like a bit of a poser with my relatively minty eBay re-acquisitions.  Since I bought them mostly as 'coffee-table books' or for occasional nostalgic perusals ("Oh ha-ha..  Otyughs..  I remember those.  They were gross.", etc.), I guess I should just own up to the poser label.  :)

Dear god, man, your DM's guide only has "Anced D&D" in the corner!  Nicely done!  :)

This is everything I've got - apart from Palladium rule-book.  The old DM's screen, some AD&D modules & the core rulebooks  (Up yours, Fiend Folio!!)  And I also have the Basic/Expert sets with three of the modules.  "Castle Amber" (the only one of those which came separately from the sets) was pretty unique.

I can't believe how neat and crisp your books look. I can't remember mine ever being like that now. I never had a dungeon master's screen. I'll sort some more of my stuff out soon. Pity we can't play a game...

The DM's screen was GOLD.  After a few sessions with that, it was unimaginable that we'd played without it.

Mind you, I was one of "those" DMs - which is to say that I was the only one who knew exactly how many hit points your thief had left, etc.  I needed my privacy.  :)

Plus, it added this whole "Wizard of Oz" dimension to DM-ing.  ;-)

And yeah, those books have, for the most part, weathered the last three decades or so considerably better than I have...

I must admit I'm a bit battered around the edges too these days!

Here are 3 of my 20 sided die. The first one came to me via a friend and hasn't had too much usage, the second one I started to use as the the third and final one started to get a little difficult to read........

That is AWESOME!  The third one is a ball...  You sure you didn't roll these with a rock tumbler?  :)  The only way I'd get a d20 down to that condition would be if it were a soap-on-a-rope or something.  Of course that's a ridiculous idea...

Oh wait...

Thanks. Things that never get used tend to age pretty well. :|

I meant to pos this a few month sback but I forgot to submit it. I know have all 3  1st edition AD&D premium rulebooks.

Here's my new DM's guide. When I opened it the pages were actually white rather than a faded parchment colour!!  Still in it's shrinkwrapped plastic!!

Out of the plastic

Gold edged pages!!!

And here's a photo of two of my mates playing D&D back in the mid 1980s. The one on the left is Neil, who I still play D&D with when he is soberand the other was Dave, who unfortunately passed away last October
