I totally agree! We need more time, or at least a time control option, I recognize that it can be difficult to get 4 people to join a game if the time controls are all different so why not 2 options, 1 minute or 10 minute!
Simply Sensible

yes.. at least option
10 min? I think 2 minutes should be very much the needed help, and understand these games would get lengthy if it more than 5 minutes I would imagine.
I mean... imagine say 2 or all three your opponents sillily took 3 or 5 minutes their choiced move before your next and you waiting so long nearly fall asleep lol.. just kidding.

It's not uncommon for 1700 players to get paired with 1300 players, so I don't think there's quite enough players to add a second time control. I like the current time control, but I would not mind if it we would start with 2 minutes instead of 1.

In one of the forums I was following, A staff member said you would be able to customize a whole lot of options like this, don't know if it's this specific though, but we will be able to choose our teammates in a team game, and customize some options in the near future.

Yeah... well, what sucks is attempting to create yourself a new tactic with this and you ONLY GOT the silly minute. You place 4, 5 maybe 6 pawns up, grab 3 queens, then see a mate, though because only 1 minute when you're thrashed for not having recognize a few important areas all your effort is shot down all because you had not the proper amount of time you truly should be given....
One costly example I just ran into just now...

lol.... I never said there's not ones here that can't achieve that, but rofl c'monnn yo... recognizing we all very new this and as well many need to get used to, like myself creating a tactic is not just some quick bust up creation... I have to tweak what's to work for what is better to build on with several games for it to be solid.
I am also very used to chess being a 'thought out planning' game as well your next move and was not happy my old device would make me lock my screen unable to move over 20 or 25 seconds max then got an upgraded one, now it will not, but I so much rather the ability to 'THINK OUT' any outcome and this definitely (especially because IT'S so new) needs that!
I have though noticed that it has slightly benefited me with regular chess because of the vast area of options opening you to see things differently which is great and heres an example with a game I just won using my own tactic while white because I'm not into, nor ever will be on reading on tactics or variations because it truly doesn't seem like what the whole purpose of my enjoyment with it is, like missing out what chess is all about, overcoming your situations in front of you!

This game is great fun, however (especially considering it’s so new) I am completely baffled why they removed the additional minute that it first started off with.
I know many like to play fast bullet games, but THIS HERE game is NOT anything like the small boarded single one on one game of chess, no, it’s WAY MORE INVOLVED, much more GOING ON, hidden pieces needed to REALIZE beFORE your MEASILY small 1 minute (15 or 10 second lapse given) is up..
I’m sure many here can completely agree the additional minute added would be a very sensible improvement, and in no way am I downing this game, though it truly does make sense to add another minute so we all aren’t frantically attempting to as quick as possible find our best position as each opponent decides their move, placing a little more to frantically choose.
I hope, I HOPE, I H O P E this gets adjusted for everyone’s happiness, and those bullet slammers can then adjust their reasoning for to choose whether they wish to continue their bulletization (lol) each move or take advantage the PEACE OF lol MIND it can give them.... Por Favõr
