somethings wrong here

I was playing as white and got in checkmate, but the timer kept going, and chess.com just read it as a check. But I couldn't move anything. I ended up resigning so the random player could get back to whatever but what's going on here.

It might be something wrong with my computer cause the image isn't loading on my screen
