It is human nature when faced with a problem is to try to solve it on our own, but we normally only see the physical world. It takes training and experience to look past the physical and rely on the spiritual. We tend to try solving the problem first before we humble ourselves and realize there are helps available if we ask for the solution from God's resources.

I have good observations because I have made many mistake myself and it is only now I can look back and see all the things God did for me while I wondered about in the wilderness. It is amazing to me how often God intervened even though I was complaining a lot. If I had always turned things over to God in the first place my life would have been so much better. Putting God first when there is a problem is a learned response. It is not natural, but it is how we should respond.
