Sound

There is now a sound when moving pieces in Online chess - main board, analyze and explore - and no way to turn it off. Only way to get rid of it is to turn of the beta.

I didn't like the sound much either. For live play sound is OK, but it seems kind of out of place/grating now for online games.

Agree, please remove or give the option to mute.

This might be redundant, but sound's come up in the tactics trainer too - I think the sounds are great, but just not a fan of them in certain settings.

I absolutely despise any website that generates sounds by default unless and only unless it's something I ask it to do. I generally am listening to music and unexpected sounds really irk me. Sounds should be a user option that should default to off in all contexts. Nothing about chess requires noise.

Please confirm when the sounds can be turned off. I'm leaving the beta until then. Like Kingpatzer says there's nothing as aggravating as unwanted web site sounds.
