Strange redirect after failure with sending PM

Another strange case of an implausible redirect:

I am on the page

https://www.chess.com/clubs/members/team-burgas?sortType=last_online_date

I click on the "Send a Message" icon of member @Bulpower.

I type in a message and click on "Send".

Apparently @Bulpower has activated the option "Accept messages only from friends." So sending the message fails. Then the system redirects me to the homepage

https://www.chess.com/home

rather than staying on the page

https://www.chess.com/clubs/members/team-burgas?sortType=last_online_date
