Strategy I used for a treasure bastion

The thing is, if you get cornered by multiple piglin brutes/piglins with swords, it is very hard to survive (brutes can disable a shield). I found a treasure bastion in a warped forest, and I kept leading the piglins out of the bastion and into the open where I could kill them easily. Just seek and make use of open space essentially.

piglins you just have to wear a gold armor piece to keep them from attacking from brutes you can just build a barrior

if you attack a brute tho even if you wear gold armour piglin is still gon attack you btw
