Yes, I agree classical is one fo my favourite chess controls and I think that the shields would be really fun too! Thanks
Really good ideas, @Burgermaniac I quite like them. But, I don't think Chess.com can 'copy' what lichess is doing. That could be a little controversial.

It could be, but they could rename it and change the format slightly...
I created a Lichess account not long ago and immediately decided chess.com is better. But I did notice that Lichess does have a classical pool, and chess.com doesn't. I like playing long games and I feel like a classical format should be introduced. I think many other people would agree with me.
Also Lichess has a thing called a Shield Arena. Basically there is an arena tournament every month for each time control and variant. It goes on for several hours, and at the end the winner has the "shield" on his profile until the next month, which will be the next Shield Arena. We could have about ten Shield Arenas per month- rapid, blitz, bullet, hyperbullet, crazyhouse, bughouse, KOTH, horde, whatever. Personally I think this would be a very good addition to chess.com.
this will never happen and i even argued with one guy on why this wont even be a thing in the future, many along with grandmasters believe that online should directly just be fun and speed chess only cause its really exciting fans and bringing more people which benefits the chess.com community today. shield arenas also wont really be much of anything as i feel like arena kings is just way better and acts as the equivalent to that having a very nice purpose of having many stages which leads into the finals. there is not much need for the classical considering its been a decade and cause of the pandemic, its becoming more clear that chess.com is just more interested in these online rapid, blitz, and bullet events as thats what online is supposed to be, just fun
no but many other ppl wouldnt be just interested in rapid, blitz, and bullet, like me

you would kind of be surprised at how much people prefer playing rapid and blitz online over classical, chess.com just wont do it and the fact that its been 10 years doesnt make me feel like it will come any time soon as they are more interested in bringing the fun spirit of online chess and not something too serious
Yes but the people who are wanting to should be able to have classical.
