Suggestion: club invites restriction per calendar day
I am almost certain we switched from calendar to 24hr clock because of some similar post to this one
But there is a potentially pretty good reason its 24 hour. You potentially have admins from many different time zones. Whose calendar day should we use? By resetting 24 hours from when the last invite was used we don't have to worry about what time zones the admins are in.
I would prefer any fixed time delineation to the current 24 hours.
Isn't it possible to apply to each user their own time zone?
OK, I see. I doubt there are many clubs that share the invite activity between admins from different time zones -- but if there are some, this complicates matters.
Still, I think the following rule should be implementable: If an admin tries to send an invite, check whether the limit of 30 is already reached for his club and within his calendar day. If this is the case, block the invite.
A somewhat un-intuitive consequence of this rule might be that while your invites are blocked, another admin of your club in another time zone might be able to send them anyway. But this is not really a problem, is it?

That would mean that the only the admin in the earlier timezone would ever be able to send invites if they got in early enough each day since they would use them before anyone had a chance to.
Would that be a problem? I would be happy if another admin in another time zone took over the invite work from me.
I am really certain that someone would complain.
If we were going to do a calendar day, it would have to a universal timezone the same for everyone.
I prefer the current system because we have admin's across the main time zones. I'm looking for one in Antarctica so he can be in all the time zones at once. ![]()
Maybe it could be solved by being able to "preselect" users and then invites will be sent once the timer is up. That way you don't need to stay up late and wait for 24 hours to run out, though I don't know if something like this might not be possible because of possible abuse
i suggest every admin has his own 30 invites
Absolutely not
No ... Bad idea. People will take advantage of this and have a team full of admins thus allowing thousands of invites per day.
Club invites are restricted to 30 every 24 hours. I understand that there must be a restriction to slow down over-ambitious admins -- but why is it per 24 hours? I would prefer a restriction per calendar day.
In the current setting, if on one day, I have time for invites in the evening and on the next day, I have time in the afternoon, this is impossible. Actually, I don't always remember when precisely I have sent invites the day before and I am often confronted with the 24 hours restriction just to conclude: "Oh, apparently it's still too early for today's invites."
