Suggestion to substitute auto resign

So say you lost internet connection in the middle of a game. Instead of auto resign I think it should instead be converted into a 3 day daily game respectful to how much time the player had left with no vacations. So (i'm not doing the math here) if you had one second left from a 15 minute game the daily game gives you an hour to work with. Where as if you had 15 minutes you'd get the full 3 days. 

FInally, if both players agree (within five or something minutes), they can bring the game back to a non daily format and play it out.

I think you mean an auto adjourn with a procedure to restart.

Interesting however, easily gamed where someone could simply turn off internet to force adjournment.

Not all players are active in both daily plus live games.

The system would have to tell a real connection loss from an abort.

That is true! I was hoping that could be fixed by giving them lower time, so if they quit in the last second they get very little time (and I think 1 hour counts a little because if someone wants to win they justs has to play outside the opponents timezone)

All I can suggest is to "shrug" and play another game. Internet isn't perfect.
