Children can also see inappropriate content and understand what it is or means by looking it up or using common sense.

I agree with checkerboard900. Although it may not be the best idea, most older kids can make proper decisions for themselves and I think it is something to look into.

I think we should test with teenagers, and work our way down.

I think it’s more of a policy/legal basis not to do this, rather than thinking children are unreliable. I mean, you can’t hold a minor accountable, but the site will be responsible for any harm to the minor, so yea it’s understandable. Also, Mods may need to see some grizzly stuff by Viroh to remove them, which is unsuitable for children.

oh and children can be more biased than adults

Avatar of the-original-lalalal

It really depends, especially on their history and whatnot on the app. It could be a possibility, but probably not right now.

I think, instead, we should have a distinguished community contributor award, where successful and helpful members (regardless of age) are given certain, limited privileges such as locking forum topics and faster staff response, to both allow such ppl to work easier and also to award contribution.

Children mods can easily be exposed to dangerous content.

Agreed

Young mods can think like ‘I judge everything‘ and get bad attitudes at school?
