Hi Chien,
Go ahead and add me to this tournament as well. (Rookmaster from ICC/ChessHavoc from Lichess/Primetimechess on Chess.com)

Hi fhunfi -
This is John - gojira on ICC - Matt forwarded the link (thank you!) - please add me to this event.
Appreciated!
john / RealGojira

Ok 29 players are ready to play,.
Here is the Link of 1st round pairing :
https://swisssystem.org/Tournament/Details/93e78e7dd7094527b0ce023480c1ab59
Round 1 schedule : Jun 01 - Jun 20.
Time control is : 90m+30s
You will negotiate (privately via chess.com inbox message) with your opponent for the agreed date/time for playing the game.
After both of you agreed, then please write at comment section in this forum page about date/time you will play it.
Once any game is finished, please write at comment section in this forum page with format :
" Round number#, player1 (W) vs player2 (B), result , and game link"
The updated Spreadsheet to store Date/time game played, result, and game link from Round to Round :
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1JQjXcjAXKNmob5IcIjilR8sT2OEKShC8/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=106384977997101930227&rtpof=true&sd=true
NOTE :
* From my experience, if the difference rating of 2 players are too high, then the challenge often did not work.
What you should do is, either :
- 1 of you (or both of you) add Friend Request to the other. After you two had become Friend, then the challenge will usually work well.
- or setup the Unrated game.
* Anyone can still "Late-Join" for the next Rounds, they will have 0.5 Bye as starting point.
Have fun, everyone !

I have communicated & negotiated with my Rd-1 opponent nelsonmason via chess.com message, and have agreed the date/time for our game.
This is example how player will write the agreed time.
" Rd-1 : nelsonmason (W) vs fhunfi (B) is schedule for :
Saturday, Jun 04 , 19:00 EDT "
& I update it to the Spreadsheet that will store Date/time game played, result, and game link from Round to Round :
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1JQjXcjAXKNmob5IcIjilR8sT2OEKShC8/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=106384977997101930227&rtpof=true&sd=true

Hello fhunfi, I cannot figure out how to message my oponnent or find his profile. How do I do these things. Please give me some instructions.
Also is my opponent primechesstime or primetimechess? The names are different on the link above and on the Google spreadsheets.

One more question. What time zone is to be referenced when setting the time for the match? I have no idea what time zone my opponent may be in.

Hi @dwcofer.
`1) First of all . thanks for correction. I have edited the spreadsheet to correct name : primetimechess.
2) To see your someone's profile, please type this (let say you search for your opponent's name : primetimechess . You can change primetimechess to any other name
https://www.chess.com/member/primetimechess
Or : another way : https://www.chess.com/clubs/members/90m-30s is the list of all members of 90+30 club, you can find any name there, then click with same result.
After you open the player's profile, you can Add Friend, you can also send Message
3) from the profile, if you can see that he lives in US, you can refer the time to EDT.
if other than US, please refer to UTC time control.
but in general , UTC reference is common for all.
Please let me know if still any difficulty
1 of good time converter tool is : https://www.worldtimebuddy.com/utc-to-edt-converter

Thanks fhunfi. That was easy enough. Thanks
I also found another way in the meantime. If I click on Social on the menu on the left side, then on Members, there is a search box on the right side (have to scroll down a bit), and I can type in my opponent's name and get to their profile.
Thanks for your help.
@dwcofer yes negotiation is through private message at chess.com ( it is located within TAB chess.com at top left main screen (then you will find Home , MESSAGES, Stats, Awards etc)
or via this link :
https://www.chess.com/messages/compose
the inbox there work almost similar with email though.
& not by leaving comment at this forum
