Tables in forum posts: Chrome vs Firefox
No issue on edge... so I presume no issue with internet explorer (don't know who still uses that though...) Although you may not like it... have you tried creating it in chrome and seeing how the tables turn out?
This would be an interesting experiment, indeed. Unfortunately, I've no time to check this out in detail.

Would it be possible for you to message me the info (as I cannot edit your post, nor re-write you info easily) and I can try it on chrome.
I could send you the HTML code of the post I screenshot above. However, if I put it in a PM, it will certainly be mutilated. If you send me your e-mail address, I would send it to you as an attachment to an e-mail message.
The posts below are tests with HTML code that has been cleaned from "height" and "width" CSS elements.

It seems that cleaning the code from unnecessary CSS elements helps. The tables in #9 and #10 are displayed correctly in Chrome as well. Still the problem with the spurious scrollbars remains:

I was just cross-checking display issues with different browsers and came across the following curious problem with displaying tables in Chrome.
This is a table from #1 of the thread https://www.chess.com/clubs/forum/view/2018-wcl-division-3-1:
Perfectly fine in Firefox, my preferred browser. However, when I visit this thread in Chrome, the table is demolished like this:
Not a problem for myself, as I'm using Firefox. But as an admin of the World Cities League, I would like my announcement to be readable for everyone, independently of the browser they use. Is there a fix for this?
