Tactics Problem yet again.

Yet again there is a problem with a tactic that won't let me solve it when I click on solve this puzzle. The number is 518888

Clicking on the solve button opens a random different puzzle. When I solved the sequence, at least I am fairly sure I solved it as it ends with checkmate, no points were awarded and the time still keeps running. Also I don't have the slightest clue about what the tactic of 518888 is supposed to be, the engine says the best move is a4, unless the position displayed is with black still having to make a move. It also won't let share or download the puzzle https://www.chess.com/puzzles/problem/518888

I don't think anything is wrong with my system. It works for 99% of all other tactics. I tried both with firefox and chrome, each time after clicking the solve button it opens a random different tactic instead. Others have been having this problem with specific puzzles as well. This problem has been consistently popping up with puzzle rush, where I can always retry those I failed, but those that time out, like the ones I didn't get wrong but didn't finish in time before the time was up, those don't let me solve them and open random puzzles instead.

If you click on solve puzzle and do indeed get puzzle 518888 that looks like the one from the first screenshot, maybe it's not my system but the fact that you have a diamond subscription? I'm quite sure it's not a user error, my browser is up to date and there is only one big orange button to click.

puzzle 518888 is black to move, and black plays Bd6 allowing white to skewer his queen and rook

But it says white to move in the screenshot and queen and rook are not on a diagonal and none of white's rooks can be attacked from d6, which kind of proves that it threw you into a random puzzle rather than 518888

it does say white to move, but it's incorrect. when i clicked play on the puzzle it moved the black bishop from e7 to d6 allowing me to play my bishop from e3 to g5 skewering the queen and rook

So after you got an issue with that tactic you then went to a different and it did work?

Every other tactic from any puzzle rush I can repeat without a problem by clicking on the respective icons. I always repeat the ones I failed and it has always worked, and I also looked at some I got right because I wanted to look at the analysis board. Those that have the grey symbol when you run out of time, those I have consistently not been able to repeat. It makes sense that I can't do them with the learning function as I haven't completed them and thus can't repeat them when I've done my share of puzzles for the day, but on the next day it still won't let me solve it and gives me random puzzles instead which don't seem to award points properly. neither clicking on solve this puzzle button, nor adding "/practice" to the URL which works for other puzzles doesn't work on those. I've also couldn't access the ones that people have posted here with a similar problem.

@jdcannon Now that I have diamond, I had the small three buttons (play puzzle, show solution, analysis) instead of the big orange "solve puzzle" button and was able to solve it. So it seems indeed to be connected with the type of membership. No cache or anything has been cleared, so the membership is the only thing that changed. So it seems to work fine with diamond, but didn't work with gold

Yes, its based on membership level. we are discussing some idea to improve that experience.
