I believe I was in a team match as a member of Chessworld. It's where you match up five players that signed up against another groups five players. Matchings were based on rankings where the highest in each group played each other and the lowest in each group played each other. I'm sure everyone can figure out what happened to the ones in between. If that's what it is, then I think it's a good way to build some team spirit. I can't remember if the fellow group members can look at the other games or not. I would seem counter productive to do that, since it would be close to vote chess.
Team Matches
count me in. espcially since class started, i havn't been able to partake in the team matches at the club. :(
I locked our team lineup... I know Joe won't be playing and foxergod has been MIA since joining, and everyone else has signed up! Good luck everyone, lets show 'em what it is to be a chessmaniac!!!!!
Joe is my son. He was receiving chess lessons from a 2400 rated player at school. He mentioned that he's not had much time to do much of anything other than work and study lately. It might just be that it's near the end of the semester. I'll ask him what he's going to do.
Are you guys interested in challenging the same group to a 960 match? the person I'm playing is disappointed that it is standard chess as well...so I know we'd probably get a good match

Do we, as a group, have interest in playing Team Matches? Could be a fun way to add to the ol' game list.
