Teams was re-added! Tell us what you think?!

Also the beginning page where it says you accept the terms does no appear now. I DO like the fact that I can actually play without going for points though.

Could we consider giving control of a player's pieces to their team mate if they resign or time out? At the moment the games can be rather anticlimactic if someone leaves.

so far everyone I played with disconnected and so I lost.
why do you have to be to choose partners?
what about playing with friends that are online?

Please note you don't need to be diamond to invite players, any membership level will work. Also, only the inviting player needs to be premium.

I LOVE THIS!! its great and I like the improvements you made from the first team release!!
No complaints and nothing but praise from me
On your future add list (probably already there) be nice to click the friend box (or dropdown menu) and be able to select from your friend list vs type in or copy paste there name in box. And while I'm on this topic be also nice to maybe see the list of my friends names (both of them ) and maybe see all the ones currently on line bolded vs ones off line grayed out?) No hurry just brainstorming.
Thanks once again!!!!

Too "chaty" for my taste. It's difficult to watch the chat, type to the chat (trying to avoid the arrow keys), and come up with good moves at the same time. I think I'll stick with the FFA version.
Also at my last teams game an opponent mentioned a bug that prevented him from moving some of his pieces.

Honestly speaking, dont make people pay money for not an officially released product.
This project is still on developing phase. Am I wrong?
+1
Did Erik agree to this? One of the great things on chess.com is that from the beginning it has always been free to play. This includes all game modes with pretty much all settings related to them (auto timeout protection and vacation time being some exceptions, but they did not limit you how to play). Just like you can get a partner for free in bughouse you should be able to do it in this variant.
I have to say that the current team mode works very well though, I've had lots of fun and since I have premium membership it was not a problem for me.

When I mentioned 4-player-chess to my friends, they asked first about teaming. Then I told: cooming soon... And now I could say: you could play with me, if one of us pay.
All of other types of chess with friends are free on chess.com.
I think this should be free, too.

i like it! it's a totally different game. often won't last more than a couple moves, at least until people learn how to defend.
for my part i'm fine with only premiums being able to pick a partner. i do think it is a huge advantadge if you can talk on skype or so with your partner. but $2.50/month is not too much to ask imho

This is a good mode. And seems to be more dangerous that the Free For All one. In the free for all mode the opposite player may help you or may not, it depends. In the team mode he/she always help. This makes the price of every mistake higher.
Bad side: You need a really good partner to climb to the Top. Some random partners tell you instead of "hi" (or right after "hi"): "You must save me." and put all the responsibility to you. You become a nanny and a hero at the same time, but if your team lost you are responsible for that.
@battleMind24, please:
1) Mark Team games some way in the Top Games list. Or create a separate list.
2) In the chat please write THIS IS A TEAMS GAME! using CAPITAL LETTERS.
3) Make the chess board coordinates more contrast. Now there are tiny gray letters and digits on gray squares. Black color and bigger letters should be better.
Thank you!
