I think even if pawn promotions were made to be on the 7th rank (shorter than FFA) the mode is a bit too aggressive for it to be a good strategy in the early game. This said I have no problem with it being on the 11th. It is the furthest a pawn can move if it makes a capture towards enemy territory and there is no need for an easy promotion rule to give players an incentive to be active in the game.

An arrow is a friendly suggestion, not an order from your lieutenant. You still can make your own moves. The TEAMS MODE means there is a TEAMWORK when 2 persons suggest moves one to another and discuss them. If you do not like it, play FFA. But first think: Why does it annoy you? Is it something like "I am not stupid! I will find the best move myself!" or maybe "Who is he/she to give orders?".
nahh... it's more like I enjoy to play the game and it goes way smoother without teaming.

Awesome job. Arrows are great. Well done ! Having to pay to chose partners ? Well, this isnt a charity, 4chess needs to be bringing money in somehow. Plus, 3$ a month really isn't a big deal.

pawns promotion seems useless, you will get mated long before you promote a pawn. why 11th?
