Testimonies that made us believe in Christ

There was a point in our lives, when we started to have belief in Christ. If we can have memory of the moment, it might reveal the secrets to what makes Christianity so special.

I was an atheist before, and i always tried contradicting the bible with "scientific explanations". It never made sense in my head. It was laughable to me also . It was not until my search for true love, that brought me close to the Bible. I didn't want to break her heart, so i just gave it a try. Lots of tries, And Boom! There comes my belief with agreement in understanding. But i had to try my belief multiple times, i felt driven away by the "trueness" in science. It was not until the third try, that i got complete faith in Him. It was the 3rd try when God answered me. The third try, was one of true belief and understanding.

I believed in a God as long as I can remember, but never thought I never thought I could be good enough. I went to an alter call when I was just 3 years old the first time. I had a bad childhood, like most, got into drugs and drinking to escape reality. I was in and out of rehab from 1991 till 2007. Then between 2002 and 2007 my chest was opened 4 times, I had brain surgery, and my back was broken badly. One doctor said I out lived two and a half cats. Since 2008 life has been the best ever. By the grace of God I lived through all that even though I tried not to several times. I have learned to accept Gods love, mercy, and to trust his forgiveness, Thanks to God I'm happier than ever. I'm 68 and have been married 48 of those years. Peace and Love be with you all, Big Bro Sam

I wonder if you noticed this in my testimony, By the grace of God I lived through all that even though I tried not to several times. It means I attempted suicide several times.

Oh I forgot to mention my case of rhabdomyolysis about 2014. It only lasted 6 months but I sure thought I was going to die.

That is a good thing sciencechimp, you have less to regret probably. Mainframe it was 2.5 cat lives.
