I am just tired of you guys. It's not even as if devout religious faith demands this kind of blind obedience to dogma because many millions of people of faith reconcile their teachings with modern scientific knowledge. There doesn't have to be a conflict, except for the sheer obstinacy of certain sects & their members!

hmmm sorry genetically i am not american, and many of the Americans compromise in their faiths........ Compromise is a dangerous thing... I am not against science, just against evolution... My mom was praying yesterday morning for someone to help her, for help to clean up the house and cook, since it is on me and sis.... It gets frustrating and hard, and yesterday evening, my mom did not tell anyone since she did not want to bother them, but everyone else that we knew thought she was doing ok, then as i said yesterday evening she got a call from a friend she has not heard from for a while and that lady said she and my moms other friend (they both live about 8 hours away, they said when they would come, they said they are coming to be a blessing and to bless us with their help.... And believe it or not, my dad and me wanted to volunteer at a helping veterans and people affected by the hurricane day, we wanted to do video and audio as volunteers, cause they need people like us, and my dad was hesistant because at first he did not want to leave my mom for 2 days.. But then with this caall, the ladies did not know that me and dad were hoping to go on those days, and the ladies said that they want to stay thursday through tueasday, right at the time me and dad will need to go. Pls you can not deny this... If you can ignore this your ignorance is wayyyy to big for me or anyone else to talk to you

So you reject the occurrence of coincidence? The great objection most skeptics have with the claim that prayer yields actual results is the very arbitrary nature of those results. One person prays to receive help with their financial problems & wins money in their state's lottery - a miracle is claimed. Another family prays to save the life of their terminally ill child & the child dies anyway.
What's that called?
Did the women concerned in your family's case claim to have heard 'voices' that guided them to offer help? Why couldn't they have learned about your mother's difficulty by a number of other means?
And anyway, religious faith doesn't preclude acceptance of solid scientific fact because millions of believers believe in some 'God' & the theory of evolution. They find no conflict in these things.
Yes we do, honestly she heard no voices, we live our in the woods, 35 mins from town nearest friends that we know are 1.1 hours away.... We have not told anyone..... Do you even understand what evolution is about? Professional Biologists often say that without evolution, nothing in Biology makes any sense. It's the mainstay of our understanding of how living forms have developed on our planet, so to say you agree with science but not evolution is akin to saying you accept astronomical discoveries but refuse to accept the existence of Black Holes!
What do you think evolution tells us about the diversity of life on Earth?

Only a model of creation that agrees closely with the processes of evolution! And there's nothing in our understanding of Biology that enables any creature to come into existence from 'a handful of dust' & the idea that any human female can be created from a man's rib? Risible!
All of science is concerned with understanding how natural systems actually function & if dogma is the first casualty, too bad.
Note: I can't 'disprove' that there's an invisible giant white rabbit looking over my shoulder as I type this - so what? It not being possible to disprove some piece of speculation doesn't in anyway suggest we should believe it as fact.
It’s a never ending battle. Creationists, as I’ve observed, look at the Bible as the ultimate source of information that has to be proved wrong, while, for them, evolution has to be proved beyond a shadow of doubt, which doesn’t happen with science ever. There is no way to reason with them. I give up.
I’m also tired of dealing with people who base their entire stance on misinformation. It reminds me of the antivaxers.

I gave up trying to reason with creationists when I finally understood what their agenda & purpose was.
My interest now is in helping to show just how absurd the so-called arguments of creationism are. Those who cleave to ridiculous dogma deserve to have their beliefs ridiculed.

No, you are not against evolution, any more than you are against the times tables. Rather you are in denial of it. Great. But it is difficult to see why you would think this story has any relevance to this debate.
I brought that story as an example that there is more to this world than the physical... evolution as i see it is a racial, religeon, with people looking in the wrong place for the answers to how the earth came to be..... if you knew you were to die tonight what would you have said??? I doubt you would have taken the risk to believe in becoming part of the earth #compost...

Claiming that "I am not against science, just against evolution...", is like saying that you're not against astronomy, just against the theory that the Earth & other planets orbit the Sun!
Do you fully understand what evolutionary theory sets out to explain? It concerns only how the diversity of living forms came to be, not how our planet came into existence or even how life on Earth began - is that clear?
