The Analysis Graph

There are some plans to tweak things a little there, so it's possible the color will be changing some

Hi yes we are going to be toning down the colors
And its not just about the colors, it automatically fills in the bottom half for white and black when it's equal. When white's winning, the whole graph is white. I don't think this is very intuitive, I feel like the kind of chart lichess uses that stops the fill at the middle line will be more easy to read.

While you are at it, maybe
1. Change the dots to lines, more like this example on the old score plot:
Thinner lines maybe. Something like this with the gray line also corrected:
Instead of the plots below.
2. Get rid of the gray plot line. It makes the plot look out of focus:
3. Provide the user the option of using
a. The good old plot score chart approach, where negative values never plot above the x axis.
b. The new, less intuitive for some, plot eval bar approach
Edit:
Here is a less harsh, with lines instead of dots, and no gray plot line, rough mockup:

Whatever's going on with the new analysis graph, it's really, really hard to look at. Almost unusable. If chess.com UI designers are reading this, please restore the old look!

Yes!!!!!!!!!

Hi all. Commenting here just to say thank you all for the feedback on the new Evaluation Graph design in Game Review. Yesterday, we released some updates to the design based on a lot of the user feedback we received.
To give some added context on this, many new chess players were confused by the old design and found it unintuitive. The idea of the new design is that the evaluation graph is literally the eval bar dragged across for the course of the game.

Thank you so much for addressing the comments about the new design. I just took a look and it is a bit easier on the eyes, but the overall way it works is still much harder to understand. The old design was actually way more visually intuitive. Please consider restoring it. Maybe the new chess players were just more vocal about being confused — but it was actually much better before.
I find the analysis graph very eye-catching. The white color just hurts my eyes because it's too bright. It could be #DBD9D6 (hex) insted of #FFFFFF like in the profile photo of unknown white opponent
