Man, you really have a difficult time answering simple questions. I did not ask you whether God stopped controlling every aspect. In fact, I've already said let's assume God is still involved. I also already said we're NOT talking about deism. Dare I try to ask again? Working from the belief that God still IS involved and controlling every aspect of creation, same question: Do objects fall to the ground because God DIRECTLY MAKES them fall by DIRECT DIVINE INTERVENTION or do they fall because of the force of gravity that God created in a universe that God is still actively involved in and controlling every aspect of?

You know, I'm just going to go ahead and answer for you. It seems like you believe it's the former: you believe that objects do NOT fall as a result of gravity, but require DIRECT DIVINE INTERVENTION and the Hand of God every time an object falls it's the Hand of God pulling (or throwing) it back down (which means we don't even need gravity at all so it probably doesn't exist).

God is in charge of every atom, always was, is, and will be what part of this do you not get?

You don't believe gravity exists. Got it 👍.

This an attempt at humor?

tbwp10

Not really. It's my best attempt to try to answer the question based on your responses; which now given your latest response, I now must rethink.....

So then you do think objects fall to the ground due to the force of gravity, yes?

TruthMuse

Objects will fall to the ground due to gravity, the force of gravity acts on all things for the same reason; however, a baseball may be falling to the ground and never reach it, due to another cause, someone with a baseball glove or barehanded catching it before it lands. Newton's laws of motion never once started a billiard ball in motion, but after it is struck with an outside object and the force of the strike will put it into motion, not sure who said that first. A word is written and then placed next to another, and another to form a coherent sentence, adding another sentence to form a paragraph is always due to the mind, even when AI was used, a human's hand was in the formation of AI so at the very foundation we see a mind.

Restraints to get a result where choices are being made to do complex work are different than a blind, indifferent force acting on everything the same way for the same reasons.

So then if I'm understanding you correctly, in your view the proteins, enzymes, and other mechanisms in cells that are responsible for repairing, editing, splicing out and inserting DNA in different locations, rearranging chromosomes, duplicating genomes, etc., would have had to be created by an intelligent designer.

TruthMuse

Correct, they would not do what they do unless directed, unless you think their behavior is that of gravity, the expanse of the universe, the charge on the electron, and all these things and others act as they do so the universe could exist, just because. The universe and life are marvelously made.

That's what I've thought you've been saying this whole time, which does not conflict with what I've been saying about these cellular processes.
