The heart knows
To claim that a collection of cells within the hear are "thinking" in any way we understand is misleading to say the least.
That is not a scientific statement of any kind I recognise and sounds like something very different.
If anyone's claiming that the heart is somehow 'thinking' for itself, that's dubious in the extreme.
Do you have a point you wish to make here or are we going to do that 'fencing' routine for another 'n' pages? 😄
A quick search reveals that this has been realised for some time! ....
"Armour, in 1991, discovered that the heart has its "little brain" or "intrinsic cardiac nervous system." This "heart brain" is composed of approximately 40,000 neurons that are alike neurons in the brain, meaning that the heart has its own nervous system"
It's not clear why this should suddenly arouse great interest?
