Bd3 6. e6 White now has a very strong center and is prepared to castle kingside, but this is a mistake. Queenside is completely undeveloped. Black really hasn't developed either, but is not overextending. 6... O-O 7. b6 Preparing fianchetto. The hippo is a very symmetrical opening. 7... c3 8. Bb7 Na3 9. Nd7 Nc2 10. Ngf6 Here black will typically push the e or d pawn but I had another attack in mind. 10... e5 11. Ng4 Ng5 preventing queen a4 12. h5 Setting up a rook attack if the knight is taken. 12... exd6 No need to recapture immediately 13. c6 Ne3 Trying to trade my threat, I must defend the exchange. 14. Ndf6 Nxg4 15. Nxg4 Ne4 16. c5 sacrificing the pawn to get the white bishop in on the kingside attack. 16... Qf3 17. cxd4 If black recaptures with the pawn I can put him in check, but this was just a move to pass the time for me. 17... cxd4 18. Qh4 and now white is in trouble, a3 is the best move b3 loses immediately, Qa3 or moving the rook on c1 make the game playable, but it is only blitz so the threat was overlooked. 18... b3 WHAT?
