I have noticed a lot of members in our team matches are playing their match games very quickly. You may win, and you may lose as a reuslt of hurried play, but....you will not improve your game. Remember, when you play the opening, you look up variations and play them over, see what types of positions arise and choose ones that you like the looks of. this way you learn openings. When you play the middle game, try to consider at least 3 candidate moves, and analyze them out to the best of your ability. If you're not happy, look harder, or for more candidate moves. I'll tell you right now a lot of good games are ruined because you play impulsive and reactionary moves as a result of playing quickly. when you get to the endgame, do some research, find the plans and strategies that go with each type of ending so you will learn endings! You may beed to invest in a few specialized books, but this will improve your chess. If you insist on playing quickly, you lose opportunites to improve your play. The whole goal of my course is to improve your play, at least up to master level. You should not move more than one time in a day in any game. If you wish to play quick chess, I suggest you try Live blitz games and play slow in the online games.

There is such a situation : Here's a team Zenit : http://www.chess.com/groups/home/zenit-stpetersburg Here's the Champions League Premier Division http://www.chess.com/groups/forumview/tmcl-2013-premier-league-standings-schedule-amp-results Here's the last unbegun match with Dynamo Kiev . http://www.chess.com/groups/team_match?id=325544 match will start on October 22 ! Zenith has a unique chance to become champion , but without the support of foreign players and gain before the decisive match, this would be impossible. So: We are inviting all players with a rating of 1800 + and 2000 + to particularly support us . Only 2 online games give you a chance to win the Champions League ! In my opinion a great offer ! one condition - in this season a player must not have played for no other team in the league. Join http://www.chess.com/groups/home/zenit-stpetersburg and together we will win ! Best regards . Stepan .

Hey everyone! I'm assuming you all know who Justin Bieber is. My sister is a HUGE fan, and she wants me to get this kid Matty B who is 8 or something and a REAALLY good rapper to win the Justin Bieber Song Cover Contest. Anyway, just click Matty B on the top ten list and when you click Matty B, in the lower right corner, there should be a button that says "vote" Matty B will win! http://ryanseacrest.com/2012/05/14/the-bieber-off-round-2-ten-boyfriend-covers-artists-are-eliminated/
