This started the Age Of The Imperium circa 31,000 AD

we are still in a constant vigilant watch over chaos since that date 9000 years ago

Chaos Forces had reached Earth itself and in a final battle The Emporer teleperted onto the chaos fleets main ship and killed Horus in combat however he suffered a mortal wound and techmarines built the everlasting Golden Throne on which he now sits 9000 years later guiding us as we seek to be true to his dream

Chaos is ruled by 4 deities/demons called Khorne who revels in war especially close combat,Nurgle who embodies plague and putrefecation ,Tzeentch who uses the power of the warp to create diabolical magic and Slaanesh who lures the weak with seduction and desire
