well.... it's understandable, considering there's only one minute, and they wish to hold that minute as long as they possibly can. I mean, I never would play so fast, but had to and learn to in some strategic way since they chose not to add just one single minute to the time which totally makes logical sense that I'm so madly confused they yet have done.
The main problem of low rated players

....and.. I'd play against you in an heartbeat lol
lol I fight a multitude of minions every single damn day in my head lol
Lol if only I could nuke them consciously. On An Eternal Note .

It can be a lot of mental pressure for beginners. Hey, just a game, right? But I can see what you mean. On a side note, if you are looking for a teammate (I'm 1850) just lmk.

While I agree it is a bad idea to rush, it also puts more pressure on the other team. If you know your move, making it fast gives the next player less time to consider.

Moving fast... You are prone to make silly mistakes. It's not bullet. There's a 10 second increment.

I feel I have the opposite problem, I time out far too often, for which I apologise to all my previous teammates
sometimes I think to much and then panic and sometimes I play too fast and make a mistake.
get what I mean

I think many players do not understand that there is a 10 second delay.
@icystun, yes, I also use it for pressure sometimes, it depends on the situation.

I think many players do not understand that there is a 10 second delay.
Especially those <1200

It’s a major benefit to hold as long as possible your measly 1 minute that later in game can be a dramatic blessing, especially if you’re not used, nor desire to bullet out your move, and not worry too long your desired position or piece, and properly viewing the full board also is a lot easier to do an additional minute.
The main problem of low rated players in 4PC chess: They always (or almost always) hurry. The game allows to think for 10 seconds per move. But they spend 1-2 seconds and make a move. And then ... they say "sorry" to their teammate when he/she shows a much better move.
This is a problem of most 1300 .. 1800 players.
