Solve the following position for white:

B to E3 is my guess.

The immediate problem I see is the pawn on C2 is hanging. I do not see any obvious ways to move forward. I do not think this is a great plan but it is the only thing I see.

This would give white a partially passed pawn. Then the king can move forward.

xcaliber, how would you assess the position at the end of your line?

At the end of this line black has doubled pawns on the B file. This would give white a pawn on an open file on either A or C files. I am unsure if that is an advantage though. It seems the black king is closer and would be able to get the that portion of the board before the white king.

After swapping off the bishops and knights white's king is closer to the center and more active. That is all I can figure out...
