They'll get better.  Got to see the patterns.  If you cant find the easy patterns- you'll never begin to catch patterns that are rare.  I am currently working on classic games at the moment- I'll be continueing my Pattern Forum in a week or two.  They'll get much more complicated as strategy is thrown in the mix.
