Welcome, @TheMadRussian01! Are you making any alterations to the plan or going with it exactly as laid out in the PDF?
TheMadRussian01’s Yusupov Intermediate Study Plan
Thanks, @SmarterChess. I plan on following the core plan, but will supplement 100 Endgames You Must Know, 100 Endgames You Must Know Workbook, and going through Tactics Time 1 and Tactics Time 2. I have lots of free time and plan on putting around 20 to 30 hours into study a week. Let me know what you think.
Be careful not to burn yourself out. Just like going to the gym, you don't want to make it too intense right away. You may be the exception but most people do not last long with starting a new highly intense training regimen. Good luck and I hope you are the exception!
Thanks for the advice, @Cee_Willy. I have all of the book in Chessable format with the exception for Silman's endgame manual, which I have in app format, and that makes it easier for me to digest them. I think this will keep burnout at bay. Take it easy!
Looks like you're getting a ton of games in! How's the game analysis going? Are you noticing any trends?
@SmarterChess I'm on a bit of a skid. I'm gonna peel back the amount of games I play for a bit. I did setup a spreadsheet today from your article on analyzing games and Pump Up Your Rating. I'll be retroactively loading and analyzing games tonight.
Sounds like a good plan. You can also switch up the time controls a bit and maybe play mostly slower games for a while as you focus on analyzing.
