Theme for beta testing?

Does it matter what themes we are using for beta testing (i.e. do we need to use the standard theme)?  I am seeing some elementary style problems (e.g. items overlapping) which could be just a theme problem.

We've worked pretty hard on the themes for the redesign.  If you see an issue, please report!

Including the ones not marked as "official"?  These are the vast majority, one of which I was using until I started the beta test.

When I view another user's profile page, their theme typically takes precedent.  In the beta, however, I'm noticing that it's always the default theme now regardless of what they've chosen.

Group themes seem to work, although I'm not 100% sure if my theme should ever take precedent in a group (as I typically just use the default) or if even the default theme is given priority within groups (which appears to be the case).

i have made over 50 themes. i  made a forumn and commented there. i will comment here now. i have a problem with the avatars changing when ever they want. if you have ever put in more than one avatar it changes to and fro. i haven't seen any improvements.  thanks TC
