yes it could it has happened just last morning for me and someone closed their account because of it.

If you are doing it to harass people and make them think you hacked them it could get you banned.

And if possible could it be taken off or out?
There are legitimate uses for this feature. Misusing it to make people think you hacked them might be considered abuse or harassment. Just dont use it.
