This makes no sense...

When I am doing puzzles, I get some wrong, I get some right. But I lose a lot because my rating is high, and because I go way too fast. But then I see something, why do I get way higher rated puzzles than other people, even when their rating is higher than mine??? One of my friends, hes 8000+, and he gets 2000 rated puzzles. I went down 1000 points and my puzzles are 2600+. I used to get 3500+ rated puzzles when I was 8000. How does this puzzle system work. Some of my other friends get 1500 rated puzzles, at this level! Please explain.

Based on the updates, what you're seeing is expected for your game ratings. This is information released by staff for the changes. (See bold section)

We are currently working on a significant overhaul of our puzzle difficulty system and puzzle ratings. Over time, the current puzzle rating algorithm created highly inflated puzzle ratings for our members — and consequent inaccurate estimates of a puzzle difficulty. As we roll out our new system, you may see some inconsistencies in your puzzle stats, and rating changes from puzzles solved and missed may be greater than in the past.

We ask you to wait with us just a bit longer! Since in the coming weeks we will be publishing an entirely new rating system for puzzles for all members. We’re confident it will be a major steps towards our ultimate goals:

 - Provide a more meaningful rating which correlates more closely to player’s Blitz and Rapid ratings.

 - Serve puzzles better suited for each player’s level.

 - Offer options to member who are looking for different puzzle-solving experiences

It's not bugged but there are still some updates coming.

I really hope you do it fast, I am actually so confused. I get higher rated puzzles now after resetting my puzzle rating by accident. I used to get 2500 puzzles, now I get 3400 puzzles average????

I believe that's die to a change in how Extra Hard is working. It matches what I would expect based on your game ratings

I think the puzzle rating system is not accurate in general, therefore I don't really care about my puzzle rating as it doesn't really show actual chess skill.
