i think you need a title and no bots in a game.... but i think the position is great!
thoughts on my custom position?
i might call it attack of the fortess or something
the idea i was going for is green and red/purple are the defending their fortress while blue and yellow/ orange are attacking
i also made it so the defending team has slightly more powerful pieces but not as many pieces as the attacking force
way too easy to stalemate green imo
In fact, it takes 9 moves for red+green team to stalemate green if blue+yellow team doesn't do anything about it ( it takes about 14 moves for B+Y to do the same):
1.r Rg1 1. g (Qh3/Qh2)
2.r Qg2 2.g Qh1
3.r Bh2 3.g Nd5
4. r k6 4.g Nb5
5.r d6 g. Njh3
6.r Bh4 g. Nj2
7.r Qeg3 g. Njh3
8.r Nf2 g. Nj2
9.r Nfh3 and green is stuck.

heres this. but in a real game i dont think you would deliberately stalemate yourself
if your team is lower rated than the opposing team then yes, stalemating yourself is quite an effective strategy to gain rating. From what I've seen blue+yellow usually have to sacrifice something to stop the stalemate. (attacking red doesn't work since he doesn't have a royal piece)
also do you need that many pieces? looks kinda spammy to me, like those blue wazirs at the back aren't absolutely needed. they won't be useful until like 80 moves in

oh hmm ill try to fix that. if you want you could help.
and yeah the yellow blue team does have way to many. ima try to balance it a bit more

so i made this. i moved the wall knights up one got rid of two yellow knights and gave them rook knights instead. and switched two red rooks with two green rooks
alr so i took the Save my King variant and made this with it
its taken alot of variations but this is the best one so far, tho i still have to do some balancing and give yellow and blue a few more pieces
its a slower paced custom position that requires a bit of thinking before making moves, and god forbid if you blunder in this. blundering from any team could instantly change the tide af this game. one moment your winning the next the enemy is
ill link a game i played and boy is it long.
