I would be very much in favour of loosening the time restriction. My time per move is 6h22 mins (which excludes me from the group). However, I log on to chess.com several times per day, make moves as soon as it is my turn, and am committed to my games/teams. Thus I do not think that people like me would be a liability, but rather might add something to the team.
I still can't figure out how players can have these really low times per move (eg 2hrs etc.) unless they are logged on all day (maybe in the background, and are doing other things on the PC) or else they are receiving the moves on their phone (which I am reluctant to do).

You may not have given any thought to this portion of the Mission Statement since I restricted invitations to those who were within the limit.
"Group eligibility is restricted to players who make moves efficiently and complete games without timing out excessively. This makes it more fun for your playing partner. To join the group a player's time per move average must be 5 hours 30 minutes or less and their timeout ratio must be 9% or less. If a group member's time per move average subsequently exceeds 6 hours per move or timeout percentage exceeds 15% that member will not be eligible to play."
Would you disagree mightily with loosening the restriction. Perhaps "To join the group a player's time per move average must be 11 hours 30 minutes or less... If a group member's time per move average subsequently exceeds 12 hours per move ... that member will not be eligible to play."
You may have noted we cannot play fair games against teams with players rated over 1800. With this looser restriction we may be able to recruit some higher rated players.
The main goal of the group is fair matches. Would having slower team members affect you negatively?
