Ilya, Your group and my group is too big in size now for this tournament. Kokino has just said in the TM League notes the requirements for entering the TM Championships are 250 members maximum. My group is over 400 and yours is over 500. We both now need to enter the TM League Tournament for 2010 which is for the larger groups. We no longer qualify to enter this tournament.

I think many groups are not understanding this. It doesn't say it in the introduction to this group. It says only requirement is 20 members minimum. If it is 250 members maximum it SHOULD say it there... and also groups should be reminded here at registration time. I think many are not realising this requirement. Or someone needs to be checking the groups size number and notifying groups who register here they are too large and need to enter the TM League Tournament.

As Dave is actually managing this one, I don't want to interfiere on their settings... but just reading on the first post here, it clearly states that registration is for teams under 250 members.

When I firstly created both tournaments, basically the idea was to use TMC as the threshold for recently created and small teams to qualify to the TML (Which in fact was created before) on the next season.

There have been a lot of discussion about the max. number of members that TMC should host and I completely agree with Dave and others that 250 is the max. number it should admit.

Regarding the group description, it already says it is for groups under 250 and over 20... I will change TML description too.

Maybe someone has edited the group introduction in the past week as it did say previously the only requirement is that groups should be 20 members minimum. There was no mention of 250 members maximum. 

Anyway, regardless, what I would suggest, is that anytime a group is listed here, Dave should just check the group size, in case they  have missed that major requirement. It is easy to do.. I missed it, and now Slavic Pride have re-registered here, so it is a clear problem.. If the group is too large in number then send the admin a personal message to advise them they can't register here and give them the link for the TM League, whilst there is still time.
