All groups have 4 teams.

There will be a maximum of 16 teams for each team size.

80-250

250-800

800-1400

Rating ranges <1600 & 1600+

2 points for match win

1 for a match draw

I will not be adjusting scores based on banning but I will be adjusting based on teams withdrawing.

When the pairings get posted, a challenge should be sent within 3 days by either team.

You then have 5 days to accept the match.

10 days later the match starts.

Eg.

1st November pairings get posted, 4th November challenge is sent, 9th November accepted. 19th November match starts.

Match details:

TMI (team) vs (team) (rating band)  ROUND X

Standard Chess

3 days per move

Rating range <1600 or 1600+

Players 5+

2 concurrent games

Start date: none.

Games are RATED.

You will required to submit a minimum of 2 admins for each team submitted.

Each team will play 3 matches within the group.

The winner from each group will go through to the semi finals.

The winners of the semi finals will play each other till we have a winner.

Any questions?

You can send Private Messages to admins of large clubs that play team matches.... and invite admins from teams in the 1WL, NWL, and other leagues.

That's a lot of messages.

It would be preferable if you attain permission from competition organisers before recommending someone uses their organisations as a resource to be utilised to progress their own interests.

I can only speak as SA at NWL, FIDE World and PL where I am unaware you have done so, but I am sure 1WL and others would echo this sentiment.

So I should ask the tournament directors for permission to join so that I can use their lists to seek out team admins? That's fair enough.

I was not suggesting what you do other than gain permission from responsible (usually SA) admins before using information compiled by and for the sole use of their own club.

Well I sent a message to the leader of 1WL and he kicked me from the group so I will NOT be taking that route. I'll just invite admins from teams within the parameters of my tournament
