Training Problems

oh sure, I mostly take tactics I missed or found in my games aside from master games, maybe if lower rated people post theirs it'd be great! They don't have to be brilliant moves or advanced to be worthy of sharing. I also really liked the idea of posting puzzles with increasing difficulty but using the same tactical motif.
Anyway, here's a funny one taken from here rofl

Dovetail Checkmate
Puzzle 1: Proof of Concept
Puzzle 2: Excerpt from the Opera Game
Puzzle 3: Forcing Lines (This puzzle has multiple solutions, but the main one is thematic)
Puzzle 4: Fancy Shmancy
Puzzle 5: The Big Kahuna

Keep up the great work! I always wanted puzzles to be on one specific theme on a lesson. It helps with understanding the idea, rather than solving it. That way, it helps improve better. You are a really good presenter too. Keep it up! (Also, I like the way puzzle 4 is based on - it feels very much like in a real game when you need to combine ideas of multiple patterns (combination)).

Hi everyone. Here is a puzzle from a what could have happened in a game I played. Level = Advanced/Expert.

Discovered Attacks
Puzzle 1: Proof of Concept
Puzzle 2: Double Check your Moves
Puzzle 3: DOUBLE CHECK YOUR MOVES!
Puzzle 4: When you find a good move, Look for a better move!
Puzzle 5: The Big Kahuna (two solutions again at the end, but this one was too good to pass up)

Move 22 is so satisfying

f7: The Chess Board's Weakest Square
Puzzle 1: Proof of Concept
Puzzle 2: Deflection
Puzzle 3: Double Check your Moves!
Puzzle 4: The Classic!
Puzzle 5: The Big Kahuna (This one is seriously difficult. I recommend taking it seriously if you hope to solve it to the end.)

Today's puzzles probably aren't in the right order, but they convey the motif well nonetheless! Puzzle 4 should be harder, but I couldn't really find an intermediate difficulty puzzle I was happy with. Knowing the motif makes the puzzles easier of course, but puzzle 5 should be a good exercise even for all of you strong 2000+ rated players!

King Pawn Endgames
Puzzle 1: Escort the Pawn
Puzzle 2: Triangulation
Puzzle 3: Creating a Passer
Puzzle 4: Zugzwang
Puzzle 5: Hold a Draw (two solutions on move 3)
P.S. These puzzles are sourced mostly from this lichess study: https://lichess.org/study/EK53ZfOu/LRnj7mS3. I tried to make the puzzles forcing, but some of them just aren't, and I felt the concepts were too important to skip. The puzzle format does not lend itself well to simple endgames. So, a couple of these have multiple solutions. Enjoy!
Black to move, mate in 3.
