I think it's great that people share all kinds of puzzles here. In my opinion, these puzzles here are more valuable than any generic puzzles, because they were hand picked by members, with some thought put behind why they were posted. I like puzzles, and this is one of my favorite sections in the forum.

Here's a puzzle that's probably easy for most of you, but one I struggled a surprising amount with. It's not from my own game, although I'd like to post some from those as well in the future.

Deceivingly simple, didn't see it at first either. Great puzzle

The final checkmate patterns in the last puzzle (Gm Andersen vs. GM Pablo Salinas) isn't too hard. It is just two knights controlling a box like two bishops. Chess Tactics from Scratch, by Martin Weteschnik mentions them in the checkmate patterns. I had the Nxf2 as a candidate move, but didn't see that knight maneuver just after I had taken with the queen.

Sure! I'll check out that book since missing tactics is something I have to work on, so thank you for the resource.

I highly suggest you check out the entire game too, it was a nice collection of tactics, in the game the queen sac wasn't accepted and Salinas sacrificed it again later! Here I have the link so you can check it out https://lichess.org/study/v0vFRYfd

Nice game. Before the tactic White had to trade the queen for three minors and an equal game.

From one of my games, find the winning moves!

Isn't bishop takes f7 also a winning move? (And leads to mate faster?)

Yes, the mating sequence could've been played right away. Even flashier would be 1.Qxf7+ first, with the same idea

Didn't see it during my game but apparently yes! As well as the queen sac by @KiriyamaKazuo Wish I could add more answers to the puzzles

As long as you find a win, the rest is a matter of style. @cegalleta
