Transformation chess

I´ve got a new variant idea, the starting position is the same as standard chess but pieces can transformate into a pieces wirh equal or lesser value (except king, and pieces can only transforn to pawn if they are in the first 4 home ranks, pawns, kings and queens cannot tranformate) after tranformating pieces cannot return to ther original body unless is equal value (material points) than the actual one, win by capturing or checkmating your opponent king.

and yes that means night and bishop are like archbishops but they dont look like one

but rooks are not chandecerlors AFTER they transformate once becuase the rook can only transformate to bishop or knight and cannot be a rook again

I think this have been suggested before

IDEA: 9x9 chess with 1 queen on each side of the king also maybe archbishops instead of normal bishops

you should let them cam be come abnormal piece

if you use a 9x9 board, it is not possible to have promotion equal for both players

Maybe dragon bishops instead?
