The entire variation with 7.Ke1 is in shambles for white. The only way for white to even think of playing this would be 10.Rg3.
5.Nxf7 Bxf2+ 6.Kxf2 Nxe4+ 7.Ke1? Qh4+ 8.g3 Nxg3 9.Rg1? Ne4+ 10.Rg3 Nxg3 11.hxg3 Qxg3+ 12.Kf1 Qf4+ 13.Ke1 Rf8 and white is in deep trouble. This would be the only way to play 9.Rg1 as far as I can see.
