ok, but how's the match sign up? what percentage of members sign up? that's the real test, not # of members, which is meaningless.
Yeah no match sign ups are also really good 1900 players are playing in matches! I think they have a reward fixeed for that too!

I see no problem with giving trophies to reward people who join. Trophies are pretty meaningless anyway.
I do see a problem with spamming to advertise that - if someone is doing that, that's more of a problem.
Yeah club notes are getting filled with spams saying "Join XYZ Club and get 50 trophies"!
