I agree, a higher level indication that a collection is public would be great.
We'll spend some time thinking about this, there is a chance it is a v3 library improvement but it seems valuable for sure.
UI Suggestion [ ]: Library Info display does not indicate library is public

Below Error Classifying is a public Library but one must open the library to tell.
Suggestion:
Add a notation in the info display to indicate the library is Public.
It might be nice if Public state was sortable so all Public libraries could be sorted to be listed first.
