You are not wrong about which pinned threads should appear but unfortunately you're probably not right either....
I suspect that the ideal solution would to be let an admin choose which sticky posts float though. But its a bit difficult to think an intuitive UI to do that.
I actually forget what the exactly logic is that determines which sticky topics float though. I supposed if we choose the most recently stuck topics (regardless of when the last post was) you could effectively control which sticky topics came though but that's not terribly intuitive.
I mentioned this back in June, but I wanted to post it again just so that it's less likely to get lost in the commotion.
On the club home page, there's the widget-box thing that lists some of the club threads:
The top two threads are pinned threads, "Statement of Faith" and "CHT Rules." What's odd is that we have other pinned threads that have been commented on much more recently than those. In fact, those two threads are the least recently active pinned threads in my club. That should probably be changed to feature the two most recently active pinned threads, followed by the three most recently active unpinned threads.
